Forcefield, a non-agenda human rights organization, strongly condemns the murder of the three Israeli children. The bodies of Eyal Yifrah 19, from Elad; Gilad Sha'ar, 16, from Talmon; and Naftali Frenkel, also 16, from Nof Ayalon were found between the Arab village of Halhul and the Jewish village of Carmei Tzur, near the city of Hevron. The fact that the murdered teens where discovered where the search operation for them had been focused confirms the initial intelligence that the crime was perpetrated by Hamas operatives in the Hevron region.
The bodies were found together, bound and buried in a shallow grave.
The teens had been missing since June 12th, and their abduction sparked worldwide outrage.
The murder of Eyal Yifrah, Gilad Sha’ar, and Naftali Frenkel is a human rights violation because the three children were targeted not because of anything they did but because of who they are; specifically Jewish teens. They were engaged in no military or intelligence operations nor had they been at any time. They were just kids. We know from actions and statements by Hamas and Fatah officials in the past that they target Jews. The late Yassir Arafat once apologized to a non-Jewish victim of his terror operation because the terrorist “thought he was a Jew.”
The international Board of Forcefield calls on all who claim the mantle of human rights, who stand for victimized children, and who are simple decent people to join with us and condemn this heinous act unequivocally and without statements that attempt to “understand” the murderers.
